Jerry Zhang
Jerry Zhang is a film producer and content executive with deep expertise in international co-productions, global content strategy, and cross-cultural storytelling.
Currently, Jerry is a Producer at Toei Company, Ltd., where he focuses on expanding the company's international footprint and developing cross-border productions. He is also the CEO and Founder of MOCHI, a Tokyo-based production company dedicated to cross-cultural films and TV projects.
Previously, Jerry served as Head of Chinese Language Content at Netflix, where he led a team responsible for acquiring and producing critically acclaimed Chinese-language films and series, including Incantation, Copycat Killer, The Wandering Earth, and Light the Night. Prior to Netflix, he was VP of Local Production & Operations at Warner Bros. Entertainment in Beijing. He was also instrumental in Beijing Galloping Horse Media's $30 million acquisition of Digital Domain.
Jerry holds a B.A. and an M.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and is fluent in English, Chinese, and Japanese. He specializes in content development, market strategy, and international dealmaking, with a focus on bridging Eastern and Western markets through culturally resonant storytelling.
